Choked by our vanity, arrogant insanity

The truth upon which you must stand
The mind likes
to focus on things that divide
We need the wisdom of things that unite
Acceptance, compassion, a unity view
The darkness needs healing it’s what love can
do

A negative view
of the world and of life
Perpetuates sickness, darkness and strife
The condition of society its rise or its fall
Is a level of consciousness determined by us all
Trapped by our selfishness, anger, fear and bitterness
As victims who blame we’ll keep getting the same
